Image Magstripe MRI was developed at the Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance (DRCMR) and has now matured to a level where the developed equipment is suitable for non-methodological research applications. In parallel, the technique is developed further, especially to get better integration with scanner and post-processing software (e.g. EEG analysis software).

MRIware was founded by Christian and Lars G. Hanson to support further development of the Magstripe MRI technique. As explained in the FAQ, protection of product development investments is important for the technique to become available for a wider audience. Hence patenting and licensing are important aims for MRIware.

  • Lars G. Hanson , PhD: MR physicist and main developer of the Magstripe technique.
  • Christian G. Hanson, BSc: Electronics developer responsible for the prototypes, EEG phantoms, hardware related software and more. Does telecommunications development for a living.

Though not directly involved in MRIware, more people are associated:

  • Arnold Skimminge, MSc: Physicist conducting a PhD study where a primary goal is to integrate Magstripe MRI, signal extraction and possibly real-time EEG-fMRI analysis in scanner software.
  • Torben E. Lund, PhD: Consultant regarding neuro-applications including EEG-fMRI.

We would be happy to welcome more people on the list.  We are here to facilitate collaboration and further development.
