At the annual meeting of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, May 2008, we present an abstract, program number 2427, entitled Minimalist EEG-recording for improving fMRI: Simple encoding of noise variables in MRI data It is shown how an EEG-fMRI procedure optimized for ease and simplicity provides alpha, eye motion and pulse regressors that benefit normal fMRI analysis and simultaneously facilitate the interpretation of the resulting activation maps. A few minutes preparation time is added to the normal fMRI protocol.
